While a champagne and cider toast is elegant, letting guests toast with what they have in front of them can save you a significant amount of money. Especially if you only have one or two people giving toasts. Will you have a cake that needs cutting or will you have a dessert bar with lots of choices? We find that guests love having the choices available to them from a dessert bar. It doesn't have to be extravagant or contain lots of pieces, one to two pieces per guest is generally more than enough. There tends to be a lot less leftover with a dessert bar than a cake.
Do you want a no-host bar, guests buy their own drinks, or do you want to host all or part of the bar. A no-host bar is included in the fees for using Chez Shari. We recommend limiting what is available in the hosted bar and for how long it is available.
We find beer and wine for the cocktail hour and dinner is a good place to start. We will customize the hosted bar to your needs and budget. As you look for additional vendors for photography, floral, day-of coordinator, DJ, and photo booth we can provide recommendations for photographers and florists.
